Freight From Sydney To Cairns

I need to have an engine only freighted up from NSW (western Sydney) to QLD (Cairns).

 

The problem is most of the Bigger Named freight companies will not freight it to a private customer because they want a business address and an ABN number. Now I can supply them with a business address but I do not have an ABN?

 

One company I was quoted $ 1 000 ……

 

Can anyone suggest a company to freight an engine up to Cairns.

you will not find cheaper.

 

I have used them multiple times, and they are cheaaaap. also deliver in about half the time quoted.

I recently freighted a heavy item from Cairns to Sydney. It was an old drill press which i guessed weighed about 130-150 or so kilos. I drove to Cairns for a holiday, Picked up the drill from Townsville on the way up.

All i did was tie/strap it down to a pallet and label it big and clear. I used E-go to send it. Paid $40 to send 150kgs down + additional $20 insurance. I thought that was remarkably cheap.

Dropped it off at their depot and by the time i got back to Sydney it was ready for me to pick up. Happy days ;)

I think that "E - GO" is the go,

 

I will chase them up tomorrow. I like the sound of $60 compaired to $ 1000

Speak to 7shades, lives in Cairns and always uses freight companies.
