hey guys

i recently bought a set of real good condition ssr mk1's for my ke35

post-10226-1281244331_thumb.jpg

as you can see they have been redrilled for another stud pattern

i know its a silly question, but when i bolt them on my ke35 what can i cover the extra holes with?

they reason i ask is because having them extra holes there kind of spoils it, it looks kind of ugly

thanks in advance guys ;)

Not meaning to round rude mate but if they have been re drilled for another pcd and you think they look bad on your car with the extra holes, may i ask why you bought them to start with? I mean i probably would've done the same thing, but if you like the wheels on your car it shouldn't matter about the extra holes, either that or you can always get another set of centres, and sell the ones you have now ;)

;) Thats some serious dish :blinks:

Anyway to the question, maybe small welsch plugs? Theres also little red caps that you can buy off ebay and push into the holes, used on drag cars a fair bit. Ill try and find a link for you mate.

Edit: can't find them on ebay, maybe even machine up some alloy plugs and polish them? fairly simple to do.

if you want to turn up some alloy plugs, there's a really slick way to do it.

If you know someone with a good vernier caliper, get a good measurement of the hole diameter (to .0x of a millimetre) and let me know.

I can then tell you the right diameter plug to turn. A good machinist should be able to turn an accurate plug to the right diameter for a press fit size.

To get them in, get a bit of gentle heat on the mag, and put the plugs in the freezer. might need some slight persuasion but if it's done right they might drop straight in and as the temperatures match, it will be a tight as hell fit.

my old mans got the electric calipers and a lathe and his pretty good at using it so should be cake
