Saw this thing in the flesh at Christmas time. Pics do NOT do it justice. So many little details so nicely done.

 

Did you pick all the little subtle body mods?

 

Once you started pointing them out to me Justin I was utterly gob smacked!!

 

The motor has turned out perfect! Although it doesn't look much different to when I spotted it at your mates work. Now that was a while ago!

Thanks guys, I would have loved to run the Hilborn style scoop but for roadworthy reasons it just wasn't gonna work,

I'm still making an adapter for it though just for shits and giggles.

So I have already broken a l/h engine mount in under 1500 kms, ( it was new ) but I guess that's all a part of trying something

Being a 69 I would guess this had vents on the rear pillars which are also gone. No badges and no chrome strips.

There is three I know of that you haven't guessed.

One is the frenched tail lights and the other two are in the photo.

Yes it is, the seam in the sill right below the corner has been welded as well.

The last mod is the fuel door, removed lock and flattened it out before putting a

Finger lift ( bump) on the bottom edge.

Well, it turns out that KE10 lower control arms aren't very strong, maybe because the leaf spring is removed, but I would advise against hitting gutters

So just a warning kiddies, don't be silly on the wet roads.
