99 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Please find attached the supplementary regulations for the 2005 Queensland Motorkhana Championship on 18th September 2005. I started reading the supp regs and my thought sequence went: - hmm, it's the weekend after Cooloola rally - could be a rush........ - errr, what car would that be in, WRX would suck! nah, who cares, it'd be fun - :D woohoo, Gympie roadcraft, that place rocks! - Oh. 7 am scrutineering at Gympie. Hmm. Okay I could still do that. - Wholey &*^#@! $50 entry fee! - Forget it - why do BSCC events cost twice as much as everything else? - hang on, is $50 expensive for a motorkhana these days? Fook? 99 Posted August 26, 2005 Author Report Posted August 26, 2005 and here's the entry form. Note entries close prior to the day, 14th September. Entry_Form_new.pdf Quote
demuire Posted August 28, 2005 Report Posted August 28, 2005 Yes, $50 for a motorkhana is expensive. Or at least, I think so. There'd better be trophies or something for $50. Gympie is also far far away :D I don't think I'd really want to drive the Corolla up there. Maybe by then I'll have a Crown or something, and rent a car trailer and trailer it up. Or maybe I just won't go. $50 sounds like a lot for a motorkhana. Quote
coln72 Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 State rounds are around $20 if you pre enter down here in Vic or $30 on the day. The local club's motorkhanas are getting up to $25 - 30 bucks though :D Quote
99 Posted August 29, 2005 Author Report Posted August 29, 2005 I think that is the usual for Qld championships/series rounds too from memory..... Quote
demuire Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Yup that sounds more usual. For some strange reason BSCC motorkhanas seem to cost more? Quote
