Clear Indicator Lights Ksev.

Before I start screwing around making ones that don't fit, fit.

 

Are there any that will without mods? Bumper and side.

 

I vaguely remember a thread a while back and someone used BMW ones of some sort on the front bumper, unsure if it was the ADM style bumper or a DX one.

 

But for the life of me I can't find it, think he was from Norway???

 

As some of you may know I have stockings over my lights and would rather have a clean matt black/chrome (apart from tail lights) look without being so rangi.

It would be DAXMAN that you are referring to as he is from Normay. Because from memory I think he was going for the same idea of clear lenses too.

EDIT: Just checked he is running BMW E30 indicators on a DX bumper, anyone know if DX ones will fit the ADM bumper and therefore the E30 ones?

The DX chrome bumper indicators are different to the Aussie ones.

The only lenses that fit the DX bumper are Hilux.

Yeah DAXMAN had the black DX bumpers. Looks like I'm fabricating stuff....

 

Or shelling out for new bumpers, which was the plan but not monetarily viable yet.

get your sotck lenses out and soak them in brake fluid, it kills the lens dye and makes em clear.

for the side indicators i recall seeing a few commondore clear indicators that someone had fitted to a ke70, looked quite good.

 

though just gota be careful as the commondore were roundish, so looked newer.

 

i assume youve punched in "clear indicator" into ebay and seen what comes up?

 

heaps of real cheap knock offs that may work well.

The pre vt lights are the ones to use as they are rectangle.

And yes I've looked on ebay, I just don't want to have to mod the guard if i don't have to. Found some pretty cool looking MR2 ones....

Did soaking the orange lens in brake fluid work for you?

 

Just wondering cause ive got the vt indicator's but i don't

 

much like the oval shape as much as the original shape but

 

I'm still wanting those suckers clear.

I knlow about the BMW ones but they only fit the dx metal bumper. I have KE30 bumpers now anyway :P
