I am just about to buy a 4k motor and 4 spd box with turbo set up for my ke55. comes with everything. was running in his ke70, Has T25 turbo, cooler, 2 1/2 zorst, vlt fuel pump, adj fuel pressure reg. its costing me $600 i think its a pretty good price, should have it within the next week or 2, just waiting for him to take the motor out of the car. I'm planning on running pretty low boost.

had a bit of a read through the post above but without reading all 16 pages, do you guys recon the standard 4sp box and diff (welded) will be ok to handle it ?? like i said only wanna run like 5-7 psi.

Not much of an engine conversion bud, could have thrown it up in general mechanical section!!!, but your 4 speed should hold up alright as long as your not really rough on it, and the welded diff should hold fine as long as it has been welded right :( , i hope that helps bud

I pushed 100rwkw through a K40...... being gentle. One decent clutch dump though and I reckon I would have smashed it to bits. It really just depends on how rough you are with it.

As for the diff, from personal experience I reckon you'd be better off with an open centre until you can afford to upgrade to a diff you can put an LSD in. I busted KE55 axles before with an NA 4k, its the weldy that breaks them NOT power. Currently I'm putting around 120-130rwkw through an open 55 diff and its not a problem at all. I know if I put my wleded centre in then I'd bust an axle within a month at least.
