Hey Hey,

On my Ke11 the guard indicator doesn't work but the bumper indicator does. These lights run from the same wire but it splits somewhere in the front end. Does anyone know where it splits ? Ive looked but i can't find it.

Des :(

Ah looks like he's going to help you out, I found with one of my front lights it had a bad earth mixed in with some blown globes. Don't know if your front end is the same but the wire on my 35 passes through where the bumper mounts to, goes into a two way plug for both parker and indicator lights. Hope this helps.

Hi,

My KE15 did this des when I first got it.

I found it to be a combination of:

Corroded connections,

Blown bulbs scattered around the place,

And the indicator stalk its self had bad contacts,

AND the main harness to the dash cluster affects all the lights in my car so many places in 40-year-old wires where fault can occur.

Start simple but try the bulb. BUT be-ware KE1X have like a rubber insulator in the indicators over time and heat this hardens and cracks easy. If it breaks light shorts out and stays on just watch this.

Cheers

The rubber insulators are in perfect condition. The problem was a broken wire in the harness where it split into two wires. Work well now.
