Des Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Carby still has issues but I think I'm on top of it. It's booked in next Friday to get the exhaust leak fixed. I picked up a set of ke30 backing plates and hubs today from Curly, and he pointed me in the right direction to the source of my carby issues. Quote
Des Posted October 11, 2010 Author Report Posted October 11, 2010 Now cutting up an ae71 diff for the rear of my 11, shortening and swapping mounts over. Quote
Trev Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Now cutting up an ae71 diff for the rear of my 11, shortening and swapping mounts over. Wouldn't the TA22 be a better option? Quote
Des Posted October 11, 2010 Author Report Posted October 11, 2010 That requires buying another diff. Not really interested in LSD's just better drums and stud pattern. It's costing me $300 to get the housing shortened, mounts attached and axles chopped. Quote

Des Posted November 3, 2010 Author Report Posted November 3, 2010 Fixed the carby issues today. Was the plunger linkage not the plunger itself. Found a bit of crud in the bowl of the carby so i fitted another filter after the pump. Also fitted an electronic coolant temp gauge, Sit between 85 and 92 when cruising with the fan on constantly.
