oh what a nissan feeling! Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 The actual weight is not completely relevent, the weights of vehicles are listed in the qld modifications book, not sure of the exact name.... this is what most engineers use, as almost every vehicle is listed in that book with a set weight beside it. see an engineer, and if hes too busy, just ask for his book to have a read of, then you have a definate answer at least... cuzzo Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) http://www.redbook.com.au/used-cars/detail...id=12A3D6ADE6DC Redbook says 930. Do the engineers go off dry toyota weights or current weights when presented by the owner trying to engineer. Edited August 4, 2010 by cuzzo Quote

Do the engineers go off dry toyota weights or current weights when presented by the owner trying to engineer. And I would not take that into account, redbook weights have been known to be incorrect. oh what a nissan feeling! Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 well with the new ncop we have in qld, this conversion is legal. new category of weight 800kg - 1100kg is now vehicle weight x 2.75 for turbo cars. So if anyone is thinking about doing this, it is very possible. Quote
Sam_Q Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 so how did you go with this conversion, anyone know what the difference between ae71 and ke cross members? the engine mounts sit up higher on the K series mounts Quote
