hey there.

ive come by a problem.

i own a ae92 smallport engine. and recently installed 20v itb with an E6X ECU.

now today we started it for the first time. and we say that the ECU can only see full trottle or none. doesnt have any in between.

can someone tell me what to do? any one came across this?

thanks!

I'm going to use the TPS as the base map. as i don't have an AFM and map is very very naro

i forgot to explain. sorry.

its the tps that is making the problem. its only recognize close or open trotle. doesnt show in the midle.

If you have configured the 'throttle setup' min and max settings then the ecu is probably sending the wrong voltage to the TPS, check to see what the voltage is.

Agreed. Re-calibrate the TPS in the ECU. you should have to push a few buttoms to get into the setup then put your foot flat and release and hey presto! :)

yeah definately sounds like a calibration problem.

if you are getting the signal to change with the positing of the throttle, then as mr taz said just a matter of calibrating it.

.....Hopefully!!

If the calibration doesn't work - Check with a multi meter which wire of the TPS you're reading from. The 4 wire 20V sensors has a throttle closed switch and a variable resistor- I reakon you've wired up to the switch rather than the resistor, pop 1 pin and swap it in the TPS and hey presto it'll work.

sorry guys we tried everything. calibarting it. and check ten times the wires.

but it doesnt matter anymore. my firend mad a custum imprezza tps mount. so i wont have any problem in the future also
