What he said, I'd reccomend xt130 Corona arms though as they give about 1.5-2.5 degrees depending how low your car is. GH Sigma's are a little over the top. 3-4 negative degrees, so unless its a full blown track car i'd personally stick to the Corona Lower Control Arms. Quote

They can do strut bends. No you wont get 4 degree camber, but they can give it a little and sort out alignment!! Is it true? I have had it done on a datto 1600. Aligner even compensated more camber for the drivers side because I didn't have many passengers. Yeah, I know I'm not that popular!!!LOL Quote

rob83ke70 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 coming from someone who works in a place that has a wheel alignment machine: for a "custom" job - ie to change from factory spec in a car that provides you with minimal adjustment, you are probably best going to a place that specialises in wheel alignments and has people there who have been in the trade a long time. if you want factory specification, then any intelligent mechanic with a wheel aligner (read: my workshop!) can do it. if something is bent or busted and things are outside specification, then any intelligent mechanic can find and replace/repair parts until its back within specification. slightly deviating from topic: ke70 has a different track to ke55 (I think?) and the subframe and control arms are different lengths, so sigma control arms wouldn't give as extreme neg camber in a ke55? Robert. Good post Robert. My datto had saggy rear suspension, like all old indie rear ends do. As you said, a good aligner can fix it. I was cheap and got a strut bend. It can be done! Quote

Dunlop actually made a tool for doing exactly that, it clamped on to your strut and bolted onto the hub, then you just wound a bolt to tweak the strut. It's a loss art, F**k all people know how to do it, and fewer will do it!! Quote
