Jordain Posted May 1, 2011 Author Report Posted May 1, 2011 Well theres not much that sperates them when you think about it. Personally being bias I would be going a 2TG. Although parts in the future for a 4AGE might be more easily sourced. Main difference is 4AGE will require an ECU I'm presuming Would the 4AGE need cams straight up to make the most of the ITB's? Along with proper tuning I'm guessing (Sorry haven't had much experince with 4AGE's :laff: ) 16v vs 8v Carbys vs EFI Not to worried about cost, I think 2TG is the right motor.. but its so much extra work. 4age for better fit (smaller engine) easier parts sourcing and upgrades 2tg for the wank factor 2TG for the Carby OMGZ induction factor hahaha! Looking good mate :y: I personal don't like this shape but this one looks madd :D Also loving ur sleeve hahaha :D  Yeah, I didn't really like the shape at first either.. thought it was abit to cute, but it will look mean with the cut down carbon fibre zenkie ae86 front lip and a ta22 cutdown ducktail wing and I might make a carbon bonnet and boot if I have the time! Run the 20's, they look awesome! hahahahahhahahahahahahahah Everything is coming together nicely mate. Troy 20's are lyk omgz. Rims are still undecided, Not sure what I'm going with.. but will deffiantly not be those 20's hahaha! Quote
Jordain Posted May 6, 2011 Author Report Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) Yes I know its off centre. KE70 rails seem to bend inwards.. No idea why but it fits in the KE10 Like this! Yes I measured about 5 times because I could not believe it haha! Birdpoo weld 2TG KE10 Cross member with a rack and pinion.. Woo! - Excuse the blind looser... hahahah! The result, Two happy Corollas! OH forgot to mention... New steering wheel for JDM KE10 Edited May 6, 2011 by Jordain Quote
RX-747 Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Just a suggestion you could always carb the 4AGE? You will have a great market for parts because its a 4AGE and can still have the awesomeness of carbs (A.K.A. Said wank factor) :) Quote
Jordain Posted May 8, 2011 Author Report Posted May 8, 2011 Friends 4age with carbys.. Finding out tomorrow if I can get a manifold from a mate for the 4age so then I can run my Webers haha! Quote
RX-747 Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Good job haha, 4AGE on carbs is the best sound in the world.. The induction noise is incredible and if you can get the induction louder than the exhaust its even better :P Quote
Jordain Posted May 9, 2011 Author Report Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) Parts room haha - Yes those are brand new KE10 Tail lights! Ke70 cut down cross member with stock Ke70 LCA with Ke70 struts with Ke10 top hat.. works nicely although RCA's and Custom Adjustable LCAs that are shorter are needed, so are camber top hats. 14x8 -15 SSR Meshies.. Look nice as and suit the car perfectly! Edited May 9, 2011 by Jordain Quote
Jordain Posted May 24, 2011 Author Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) Need to shorten the LCAs, Pug discs although it may be out the window as i'm putting s15 suspension in Edited May 24, 2011 by Jordain Quote
Jordain Posted May 29, 2011 Author Report Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) Mounted the column in and sorting out the mini yoke joint thing haha! Edited May 29, 2011 by Jordain Quote
abbott Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I like cars with progress and you always have progress! I like it. And I like your work coming together nicely! Quote
Jordain Posted May 29, 2011 Author Report Posted May 29, 2011 Cheers Abbott! Now the plan... I want to keep the original switchgear set up... and I don't want to ignition lock on the column. I like it on the dash... suits the car more! I just got the hacksaw out and cut the ignition lock off and the few tabs around it... but I think i'm going to have to machine a new one up out of steel and weld it to the column!\ The column is actually laid down a lot compared to stock.. makes me feel at home as I'm use to racing openwheelers and gokarts. It felt awkward before having the wheel up so high haha! Quote
