Gspec Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 Every Rolla I get seems to have a glove box full of service books and the original "Vehicle warrenty and service record" book. I keep these coz I love knowing a cars history but there is another good use for them.... Yesterday the pumpkin went to get registered. The potential issue was the engine had been changed and Vicroads don't always have record of VIN's before 1989. As it turns out they didn't have record of the pumpkin's vin. Anyways, long story short: I had the original Vehicle warrenty and service record book with me, it not only made it easier for me register the car but they used it to get record of the cars details and now, if I sell the car, it will be easy for the next owner to register the car... added sales point. Keep those books people. :) Quote
