Ben-89 Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Whole car got a quick polish yesterday. Fitted the 14 inch corona wheels and removed the rear bar, tail lights, fuel tank and mud flaps ready for rust removal. The polishing came up preety good Des I'm impressed, which type of Corona mags are going on? Steel rims or csx look a like alloys in 14 inch? Quote

GJM85 Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 The biggest turndown on an ae71 is twisted or bowed front and rear bars. You don't have 'em. :jamie: :jamie: Quote

Des Posted June 23, 2010 Author Report Posted June 23, 2010 Dam heater tap is leaking in three spots, and I'm not liking my chances of getting one exactly the same. Also I cannot get the auto to leak, it did when I first got it but it won't. I found a spray painter to spray the bonnet and the rear end of car for free + cost of paint if he can spray some mustang parts in my shed. Des. Quote

Des Posted June 30, 2010 Author Report Posted June 30, 2010 Bought a universal heater tap today. Doesn't leak. Radio works properly and so does the tape deck, cranking out Eric Clapton Fuel pump is fitted and running properly. All I need for a road worthy now is the front pads and rotors replaced, rust removed, fix exhaust leak and fit new door hindges to front doors Quote
7shades Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Radio works properly and so does the tape deck, cranking out Eric Clapton Car's name is now officially Layla. This is not open for discussion... Its irreversible because now its on the internets. Quote
