Sloth Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 There's no real answer to this one, it comes a lot down to preference. You can get the engine worked, chuck on a turbo, go a 5k (they have an extra 100ccs and rev a bit better) or go a 7k (not as revving but more torque). There's a million other different engines too that you could probably put in, but once you go away from the k's things get a little more complicated. I have a worked 7k running twin SUs in my 55, made 58rwkw a couple of years ago on the dyno, goes nice and hard. Hasn't got a stupid amount of power, and the torque makes it nice to drive. I had a 4k in my old KE35, and in my 55 before the 7k dropped in, then I had a wagon with a 4k, which I then dropped back in the 55 while the 7k was having some work done, I never really had any problems with how "hard" the 4k engines went though. Rollas are never really known for having insane amounts of power (especially stock), don't worry you'll get used to being the underdog after a while :) Quote
