Are 3k And 4k Dizzies Exact Same???

3k's cam with Nippondenso, 4k's Bosch.

 

They are interchangeable. Advance curves may be different.

Dispute. Aussie assembled 3k's came with Bosch, imports have nippon denso. either will fit into the block.

Had a look in the toyota 3k and 4k service spec's same beast. But different governor and vac advance curves for nippon denso.

Dosn't cover the bosch dissy but guess would be the same, I like the Bosch dissy dosn't matter 3k or 4k we get them recuved anyway.

Holden 186/308 points drop straight in if you can get then XU1 have a higher spring tension better at big revs.

If you want to get real techo I think the bosch had a different dissy cap between 3k and 4k but there interchangable.

I always go for the 4k cap and rotor if I can get it as the spacing between the HT leads is greater.
