I personally didn't have it done, but the guy that owned the car before me had the work done, yeah i know you don't need to do anything to the block to get the 3t crank into the 2t block, and i said you MAY have to bore a 2t block to fit the 3t pistons

The bore of a 2tg will go to 89mm with a 3T crank you get to 1941cc . A 2tg block generally needs to be adjusted for clearance for the rods at the base of the clylinders.
