4age Sx Dash Cluster Into Ae-92 Sedan

hi fellas

how ya going.

i won off e-bay a 4age sx twin cam dash cluster.

 

i would like to fit this in my ae-92 rolla sedan that has a 4a-fe twin cam injection but soon to replace it with a blk top 20 v hopefully

 

any way,will this dash cluster fit into my car ok ??

 

will all my plugs just pop rite in ok ??

 

i suppose i will need a 4age oil preasure sender then ??

 

will it be a hard job to achive ??

 

what other things will i need to do to get this mod up and running please ??

 

and where would you relocate stero too then as there will be no spot for cd any more for it ??

A helpful tip, before you start to become impatient, is to use a combination of that little button at the top right of your screen labled "SEARCH", plus some initiative. It shows that at least you tried and that when any issues arise during your conversion, the wider community will be more willing to assist you in overcoming any problems. well,thanks for the link,oh and yeah ok,i will do a search first next topic question if i need !!

 

so,if i fit this sx cluster guage,where does the stero relocate to ?

 

and i need oil preasure sender then as well then ?

 

would all the spare guage plugs be hiden behind my orignal cluster then for the oil and amp guages ?

 

i heard some where that toyota only made one set of wire looms for the dash clusters,if true hopefull they have the extra plugs i need then .

The stereo will re-locate to the centre console (where the large storage slot is)

The loom plugs are different, and will need to come off the donor car

The volt meter will work from the get go assuming you've wired in the dash correctly, as will the tacho

The Oil pressure sender will need to be sourced from toyota, and cost me 100 when i purchased mine to begin with.
