I have a complete set of the original incarnation of this magazine. Every month I would be hanging out for the next edition. Published in the UK, but they got away from the usual thing of featuring nothing but UK vehicles. Only so many Triumph's and MG's you can look at.

Loved it.

Then it fell over in some mystery dispute between the editorial team and the publishers.

The new version retained some of the editorial team and has a new publisher. It has gone a bit to far towards a fast fours style of mag for my liking, and I no longer buy it.

We never got the te series corolla (apart from the te72 aka t-18).

But toyota did import one into australia as a test bed or what ever and it appeared in a magazine called "Motor Manual"(?) way back in the late 70's.

Edit - Just thinking about it. It could have been the te37 that was previewed. Think i might have to have a hunt around for the mag now...

has quite a few good articles now, i only started buy it this year and they've featured a few nice as rollas and starlets from uk usa and australia, plus those poms have some cool crap to. i don't feel the issues i have read have any fast fours styles, granted its many small fours there is still lots of 6's and 8's in the mag, was a nice hr holden few months back actually. plus a 700hp bedford van lol, is cool, unpractical, but cool.

Another good magazine is Retro Autos, it is new to the market and the the third issue will be released in July. This particular magazine isnt your typical muscle car genre, mainly more the old Holdens, Fords and cars that arent really given the exposure they deserved (i.e Japenese). If you have a original vehicle/s you would like to contribute, go on the retro autos website and submit an expression of interest.
