I'm pretty sure they're jellybeans?

i live around the corner from the guy you got this off, and my cousin did the paint job.

keen to see what you do with it (:

is it going to be a daily, skid car or hillclimb car?

ye, I thought they where jelly beans too? its just going to be a daily that will be a little competitive on the track... one day.

Edit, Actually I think that jelly beans have more of a curved dish whilst these are flat.

finally got my exhaust done, with a 3" drift pipe out the back :) will get a picture tomorrow. Can not recommend Albion mufflers enough, Jeff and Rick where more than helpful and let me put my own extractors on there to save me money. Not going to say how much it cost (family friends) but it was cheap.

Good form on the T18. Not many of them about.

I was in the same boats as you, wanted a KE70 but couldn't find a good one and one of these came up.

Lovin the work you've done so far. Where did you get the extractors?

This thread has been quite insightfull too with info on panels and lights.

Also swapped some wheels for twin carbs off SLW42, they will go on the engine I buy off teddy (one day) not sure what I will do with the engine, but probably won't spend too much on it.

Update, put on a 38/38 weber much better now will see how much fuel difference there is, I averaged 400-450 to 40L(10L/100kms) or over 500kms if I run the tank near dry (got 500kms with 4L still in the tank) got 100kms after the empty line :o

I'm guessing better than a Hybrid

I've got a 32/36 ready to bolt on mine but my engine is far too tired. Sits in the corner of my garage and I can hear it saying "just bolt me on...do it".

Thats not bad fuel economy, mines about the same and its smaller. Though it needs a serious rebuild/scrap.

probably, lol

I took my tappet cover off to reseal it while the car was off the road and it dead set looked like brand new!!

BTW I bought a weber kit off ebay, brand spanker a tip if anyone ever buys a new carb get one fromn the states cause I saved $300 inc the delivery and it only took a week to get here!

It's a synchronized carb to so no primary (low speed) or secondary (high speed) they both open at once, so it has more down low than a 32/36.

Mine was full bolt on with 3k manifold ready to go all adapter plates etc. Re tuned for 4k, jets etc. Even came with a spare...

And I got the sweetest deal on it.

Be good to get it fully reco'd if I get this new engine...
