demuire Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 If I'm not mistaken I've got like 120mm too much track on the front of my car :D Quote
Toycrash Posted August 19, 2005 Author Report Posted August 19, 2005 Jamie, i'll quote your question fron oldcorollas here, if you don't mind :D what did you do about mounting the crossmember to the ke20 chassisrails? so you're going to run ke70 front track and steering? and i answered: I hadto shortenthe member about 3cm/side to make it fit between KE20frame. Then just drilled new holes in the member. "bolt on" ;D I have to make slight modifications, because the members fixing to the frame is angled.. not vertical because for that shortening. I allso moved the whole member up front about 3cm to keep better angles at lower control arms (wheels will be pulled more foward than stock) Quote
Toycrash Posted August 21, 2005 Author Report Posted August 21, 2005 Volvo 240 brakes test fitted and will need minor work to fit properly. 264mm vented at front and 281mm rear. Got finally my 20v 4A-GE home and dismanttled it at once. No wonder they say it's light weight engine. I carryed it on my own at the carrage ;D Tomorrow more studying abot the engine anatomy :y: Quote
