Recommend mechanics who you think are good and fair, and who preferably have some good knowledge of classic rollas!

Yes I am also interested in this, I am looking at a mechanic who can do some compression tests and fix my engine, I just don't have the time anymore.

I only really started playing around with cars in the last few years and admittedly have a couple of mates that help me out but just get in and have a crack.

 

I've found most mechanics these days are by the whole lazy, full of shit, and you pay for the privledge of them doing a half arse job and lying to you.

 

Not to say that there isn't some gems around, just had a LOT of bad experiences so I picked up tools.

 

Want something done right, you better do it yourself :D

Al Palmer's a good bloke but charges like a wounded bull.

 

 

There's a mechanic next to the 7-11 on Elizabeth Drive at Mount Pritchard. Very old school. I've had a few of my cars fixed there. Pretty reasonable too.
