How Do You Fix The Speedo After You Put An Auto Diff In?

is it possible to fix the speedo issues if i put an auto diff into my manual ke70?

i'm guessing the original borgy is a 3.9 and the auto is a 4.1. (or is it 4.3?)

You know, i was guess thinking of this one today at work. Maybe grab the speedo drive from an auto and, hopefully it, fits into the hole for the manual.

yes.... but you'd most likely also need to change the gear on the output shaft as well.

So long as the speedo reads faster than your actual road speed you could always just learn to live with it.

 

If the speedo reads slower than your road speed, then yes definitely do something about it. Don't want yourself or whoever may be driving your car getting speeding tickets while thinking you are doing the limit.
