demuire Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 What a ripoff... Considering the engine is in the front of the car, unless there's more than just the spare tyre in the boot, I'd expect that to be like 80% off!!! :P Quote
Banjo Posted August 3, 2005 Author Report Posted August 3, 2005 hey!!!! that's a neon!!!! Correction ! That was a Neon. Or to be more politically correct. That's half a Neon ! :P :bash: :y: Quote
Medicine_Man Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Is that 50% off the already 50% of car? (Theoretically you only have to pay 25%???) Quote
Xany Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Ne correction.....that would probably be just "on" as the "ne" would have to be the front of the car....hehehehe Quote
ancullen Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 Ne correction.....that would probably be just "on" as the "ne" would have to be the front of the car....hehehehe I was thinking exactly the same thing. Quote
Northen Rolla Posted August 3, 2005 Report Posted August 3, 2005 I figured no one would pick up on it if i wrote "on" ;) Quote
Banjo Posted August 3, 2005 Author Report Posted August 3, 2005 * has wicked idea* You know how blokes buy the rear end of utes and weld on a draw bar, & then use it for a trailer. Well . . . . . Take this Neon rear end, add a draw bar, and you've got a great little waggon to put the mother-in-law in when you have to take her out. And . . . . don't fill in the front :y: And . . . . hope it rains ! ;) Quote
ancullen Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 Muhahaha!!! That so evil... I LOVE IT!!! Actually the Toyota dealership where I worked had a few tray bodies sitting in their yard from where people had ditched them for the drop-side tray option. One of these trays was black one from a new Hilux SR5, so it had the flares and would have been THE coolest trailer. Of course, it would have cost me a lot to bribe the detailers to give it to me. And I don't have a towbar, but details, details... Quote
Super Jamie Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 goddamn, brand new trays just sitting around, you should have sold them to minitruckers, they usually fetch 5 or 6 hundred in used condition Quote
ancullen Posted August 4, 2005 Report Posted August 4, 2005 The black one could easily have been sold as brand new, as it had come in on the vehicle when delivered, been washed and detailed, then removed! ;) Quote
