I'd look for the good parts of the body, rub them back and prime them. the bad parts will need to be cut and welded. Start working your way through, front to back or back to front. BUT.... Don't even look at a top coat colour until you've located all the rust and either fixed if its bady bads or rust converter'd it if its not so bady bads. Note that: rust converter doesn't last forever..... but either does steel. Edited January 4, 2011 by GJM85 Quote
Jordain Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Would you be interested in selling the front apron parker/indicator lights? Quote

jimi91 Posted March 6, 2011 Author Report Posted March 6, 2011 Update..... Been looking around at different modules to run my coil over system!!! I found one which is cheap and is able to be modified if i upgrade the car  The system i found is called a Megasquirt 3!!! They are cheap and can be bought as a package to build or pre made... My ques is..... Will this system do the job and is it a good module to use ?????? see ya jimi Quote
Des Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Why do you want to go to a coil on plug setup ? what advantages do you think it will have ? Quote
jimi91 Posted March 15, 2011 Author Report Posted March 15, 2011 Not sure just want to do something different from a elec dissy and points i just like the idea so when someone goes what u running i can say coil over system  , i think it will give me a greater spark all round and will be able to handle the higher rpm lol :lolcry: see ya jimi Quote
Des Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 An electronic dizzy with a decent coil, leads and plugs etc will hold more revs than what a K motor can handle. My 41 year old 3k with a new electronic dizzy revs to 7400rpm then valve bounce kicks in. Also does 110mph. Quote
