I’m trying to work out where to find new plastic bushes for the linkage shaft on a Weber manifold.

I don’t know what brand the manifold is but was told it came from America.

I looked through a Redline parts catalogue but couldn’t find anything.

Hope I don’t have to get new ones made from scratch (machined).

So does anyone know where I might be able to get these darn things?

Help appreciated.

What are they made from? Urethane?

You might have to get some made from scratch. See if you can source the urethane from somewhere and them take it to a brass-ware stock and see if they can turn them out!?

I think the ones in my manifold are ABS not 100% sure.

But I got a set for mine re-done in machine shop at work. I sourced a rod of teflon and had them machined out of that. So just pop one out and any machine shop should be able to do it out of teflon, PVC, ABS, Nylon etc any plastic you can get your hands on.

Thought the pic looked familiar, rides thread *cough* rides thread

Did you get measurements as yet as I have some 10mm ID snap bushings that might do the trick, I will get off my ass one day and come down.

Haha Trev. I'll have to upload some more pics.

Yeah sorting these carbs out is about the only thing left.

I got the old bushes out. The outside diameter is 14mm and inside is probably supposed to be 9mm or something as the shaft is 10mm.

A mate suggested using brass instead of plastic. Might be worth a shot.
