sNoOkDoG Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) just bought my first car, picking it up next weekend :) it was for sale on here so you might have seen it before its a 73 ke25 has a 4k with a 32 weber carby from a renault or some shit has a bit of rust. thatll be the first to go gonna replace the front springs or possibly do a strut conversion with brakes going to put either a 2tg or 3tg with some nice side draught carbys in there, love the old school twin cams straight as on the left bit of damage on the right the 4k the pod filter is nearly as big as the engine :lolcry: bit of rust under the right light and top centre of the boot lid can't wait to get started on this baby  Edited December 4, 2011 by sNoOkDoG Quote

Tally Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 cool ride man, whats the plans? I wanted to buy this but 1 is enough hahaha engine looks clean and the body looks good so general tidy up? looks like it needs a polish... Quote
sNoOkDoG Posted April 19, 2010 Author Report Posted April 19, 2010 plan atm is to just get the rust under control, stick some new springs in the front and put seatbelts in the back (mum wont let me drive anyone round unless i do) and the steering box is very slack at neutral so i will be fixing that sometime soon once that is done I'm not gonna do much to the engine/ drive train for now, gonna focus on the body and the interior, want it looking overrated ;) just considering if i have to time/ facilities to paint it myself its a sick first car ill keep it updated with whatever i choose to do Quote

sNoOkDoG Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 hey boys, alrighty then, its been a while... i decided i don't like body work and I'm not very good at, so I'm going to focus on the engine for the moment  looking at building a 2/3tg hybrid so i picked up a decent 3t to start it off. when i got there noticed it was a 13t but from what i can tell they are exactly the same? just different emissions? does anyone know if there is a difference in 2 and 3t block weight? or are they pretty much exactly the same? fan, air con and alternator taken off and cleaned up, intake manifold to left of motor for sale, $20 got to cleaning it up straight away, this engine has never been cleaned... ever... dirty side clean(ish) side i havnt decided what gbox to run yet, it is down to either a t50 or a w series. any thoughts? cheers guys Quote
SLO-030 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I have a twin sidedraught 2TG manifold if you go 3TG hybrid. Quote
