Its a K-W55/6/7 (alloy case) from a 7k powered townace.

There's also the K-W40/50 (steel case) beelhousing that can be had from a 4k/5k powered liteace.

 

Neither I would really consider rare though. :jamie:

You are aware you need to do a hydro clutch conversion for the K-alloy W? K-steel W is still cable, but not these ones.

 

The 2x bolts sticking out of the bellhousing in the bottom right hand corner of your pic are to mount the clutch slave cylinder off. :jamie:

Yeah I have a pedal box, master and slave setup from a converted Ae71 With lines and stuff! Also have a Ke20 manual pedal box to convert to hydro!

UPDATE!

 

Went shopping today and got a cheap gas and gasless MIG and some hole saws! HAHAHA!

Don't worry, I don't like Swiss cheese!

Hello everyone!

Long time no post!

Been so busy doing all sorts of other stuff haven't really touched on anything rolla related!

Got the motor apart and inspected the internals.

All good except for the slight build up on the valve faces on no.3, caused by coolant entering the cylinder. Thanks to the previous owner using the wrong head bolts! :laff:

Nice one Teddy! LOL

 

Spent a couple of hours taking it all off and getting rid of all build up. :sob:

Have just received the new rear axle setup, I now have an R31 disc brake rear end with tight as LSD. Thanks to Xany! Oh and a replacement distributor! :ninja:

Phil keto came today to take my 3k and toyoglide off my hands. Nice meeting him, he has got some wicked plans, look out for his wagon in the future!

 

Should have the car off to the panel shop in the next few weeks, I am over the paint and panel stuff. Ill get it back to all metal and let someone else do the rest.

Oh and on the colour front I am toying with the old school sorta dark overrated green almost military Hard to explain!

Anyway lots of work ahead going to join the others going for the fastest K powered car I need to get cracking!

Almost a year later......

 

Hi everyone who who gives a st!

Sorta got side tracked a bit with the build and ran out of cash....

No room at all where I was attempting to build it and a puppy problem doesn't help.

Good news though I am buying a house with a big shed so if all goes to plan I should be restarting a build thread in the next month or so.

 

I have also decided to withdraw from the quickest K car group. Want to break a 9.00 LOL!!!

 

So will try keep you all informed and will start a shed thread as soon as the contract finishes on the house!
