10ROLN Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 I have been filled in with what is happening to my KE36 wagon by the soon to be new owner and I can say if all goes as planned then look out its going to be crazy. Quote
Handiman Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) I have got a plan. I have had an idea for a long time! :ninja: My project isn't as it seems. I have only recently found this topic and think its a really good thing! I have to cut down my project if only one source of charging is available. Edited September 25, 2010 by Handiman Quote

7FOUR7 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 How are you going to mod it? To make it work thick a ratchet type? I'd prefer to keep mine looking very original too Quote
ninja-philbo Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 ive modded afew types of shifters basicaly just gonna put a stopper in it to stop it skipping from 2nd into neutral Quote
7FOUR7 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 care to do a tech article on it when you do?? I'd be very interested.. On another note, has anyone ported their own head? I've been reading diy articles on it and it looks simple, might give it a try.. Quote
untubbed_20 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 The trimatics the box to use, plenty of interchangeable parts between all models. They will handle more power than any k will make. And 12psi is for pussies! :P mind you I will only run about that, if I was going turbo I would run far more. Like I said, stu (kickn5k) will be running in the region of 30psi... Or as much as he can get in before it starts making to much heat. Split bores anyone? :D The van box sounds promising, is it an overdrive box? Let us know what you find Cam. JP trimatic out of the older rollas is definitly the go, i still have one sitting here that i was going to use, but never got around to it, surely the parts from other trimatics can be used, v8 clutch packs etc, like the gemini trimatics, they can build that are in the 8 sec gems. I never got around to looking at it, but if you want a auto, that would make more sense than a toyoglide, especially in a tiny cube motor cheers darren Quote
