hey . ive recently put a 5k engine and a k50 box into my ke10,

the car runs a jap diff with 4.3 rear end ratio

 

the motor has been worked , new pistons, rings and bearings ( acl)

Block and head have both been decked

Cam is a AJE grind 268

Head is the standard 5k , fully ported with 3angle valve cut

Compression of the motor is 9:5:1

Car runs a 4into 1 genie system with 1 7/8inch system res with hi flow muffler

Carbys is a down draft webber (forgot the size ) maybe 32/36

 

Id like to know the rough estimate power output at the wheels for this combo? 80hp?

 

The car really flys in a roll on from 20kph too 120kph its keen neck to neck with a nissan pulsur sr20ve(14.9 et), no problems frying 1st and 2nd in the dry

My old setup in my ke-11 was:

5k k50

10.5:1 comp

small crow cam

STD decked head with slightlly beefier springs

twin 1 1/2 su carbs

4 into 1 pacemakers 2" exhaust

 

made 47rwkw but didn't get a printout.

figures only matter to Autosalon pose queens.... its the seat of the pants that counts and by the sounds of it you are wearing happy pants every time you drive it :wink:

my 5k was dyno'd at 68rwkw.

 

it's running 11.5:1 static compression and my mystery cam appears to have around .475 lift. Duration specs need checking.
