simple answer no. alternator has to work harder because theres more load from the electric supercharger

 

"it takes energy to make energy"

 

alternator load 0.8kw

supercharger output 0.6kw

 

not real figures but you get the idea

You can make them work, you just need a 1000watt amp.

 

Hook the remote wire of the amp up to the sense wire of the alternator but put a relay in between them triggered buy a toggle switch or accelerator switch, Make an rca to twincore wire converter and hook it up to the charging side of the alternator and turn the gain all the way up, Now hook the charger up to the amplifier in bridged mode, Now I have done this and tripled my horsepower.
