this is for the people who keep asking me for info for there corolla's.

when i ask for where it was built and the year and month it was built, there is a reason for it!!!!

asking me for a wiring diagram for a ke 70 is like asking for a wiring diagram for a toyota, there's that many of them if you don't give the right information you'll get the wrong thing.

i've spent that much time this week emailing people trying to get details of there cars.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO ASK FOR TECH INFO GIVE THE: MODEL,YEAR,MONTH,WHERE IT WAS BUILT. and any other information you thinK will help(and i don't mean the colour).

if not, do what everyone else does, BUY YOUR OWN f@$kEN BOOK.

my bitch for today.

in my experience, nobody buys their own book

i just bought a hilux (08/92 RN85 Singlecab 22R Australian :P). one of the first things i do is buy not one but TWO manuals, so i can work on the friggin thing and not hassle people with annoying basic questions

it that bad at one stage on oldrollas, where if anyone asked a basic gregories/haynes like question, they'd get banned straight away

i wrote the original faq off things i'd collected in and around oldrollas. it's how doug and fook and i all met, many years ago. the dude who started it, stewart, has gone to japan for a couple of years. we still keep in touch

oldrollas is kinda quiet these days, all the people who talk alot are on here, all the idiots are either moderated or banned. it's still growing, i approve probably 5 to 10 new memberships every week. there's been a long history of low bullshit tolerance and not getting off topic, i guess they're all using the search function :P

ps: that faq is now here on rollaclub

^^Yes I used to read this guys stuff, there's a fair bit of useful info, its where I started reading about Corollas online. I seperately found rollaclub and used him as a reference to back up an argument. It was the biggest trip out to have superjamie, that dude who has this info coming out of his arse, respond to this. So yeah anyway, moral of the story is that oldcorollas is a goldmine of info. Hurrah for being able to research obscure shit on the internet. :P

lol, glad you got a kick out of it

the moral of the story is that everyone on oldrollas and on rollaclub is important, and the world of corollas would be very different without all of them, i just happened to be the person to collect it all into an easily readable format. hurrah for collective sharing of information :P
