plenum is tiny. was made for a blow thru set up. ill be making a bigger plenum or run trumpets.

have quiet a problem with the intake manifold. the nuff nuff i bought it off didnt think about the thermostat housing. redesign it is gonna be a karnt!

Ah yes, manifolds with build in housings suck! Can you get a pipe welded in and use a remote thermostat housing similar to what's on 4AGE AE82's etc?

the early type engines had round ports. so the previous owner made it round. I'm going tomorrow to sus out getting it aqua cut out of mild steel 8mm thick (i got acess to a mig so its easier)

Have thought about fitting the lower part of efi manifold which has the thernostat etc fitted to it. Then make carb manifold to suit that? Would be long inlet tract that all.

i don't have a efi manifold to start mucking around with.

 

ive converted the original manifold to suit a 32/36 weber but bonnet clearance will be an issue

That's going to be cool. What sort of weight are you looking at in a 22r?

waiting on the adjustable cam gear from the states. was trying to dialing in the cam but the best i could get it was 5 degrees retarded.

 

facet pump on its way. 3psi is perfect for the motorbike carbs.

this things looking sick mate, i ran a facet pump on my corona with bike carbs, seemed to work good, but i had problems with it overflowing fuel out everywhere, but my pump might have been a bit more psi too, mind you i didn't know what carbs i was running as i got them off a mate who didn't know either, they might have just been crap, good luck with it anyways i can't wait to hear it running :y:
