basically this

 

rebuilt hilux g series lsd diff

w50

xt130's with sercet spring combo (maybe go 5 stud if I'm still getting the lsd)

and secret 13/16 master/booster combo

 

all behind a 4k.

 

overkill? i don't think so

ive oready decied 5k. new pistons. set of chromemoly rings and bearings thru her. and blower cam

That combo 5k d-dish pistons/4k large chamber head from memory gives 8.2:1 from memory.

That's low enough for 14psi with a camshaft.

cheers stu that was the aim for compression. i know the crank/rods are gonna be fine for 12psi. more that this i not sure the endurotec or the other more expensive pistons will last.

 

my machinist also said that 7k pistons sit 2mm lower in the bore. even less compression? LOL
