kickn5k Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 That combo 5k d-dish pistons/4k large chamber head from memory gives 8.2:1 from memory. That's low enough for 14psi with a camshaft. Quote
Evan G Posted May 15, 2012 Author Report Posted May 15, 2012 cheers stu that was the aim for compression. i know the crank/rods are gonna be fine for 12psi. more that this i not sure the endurotec or the other more expensive pistons will last. my machinist also said that 7k pistons sit 2mm lower in the bore. even less compression? LOL Quote
