Evan G Posted January 23, 2011 Author Report Posted January 23, 2011 not bad! I'm through my second one! fml! updates - changed shoes and bleed up the brakes. all good in the hood. i think I'm ready for GOR? Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Too busy trading fish tanks for Commadores. Quote
Evan G Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 so far. bought a set of modgies from mhmills (thanks champ!), 14X7 zero offset! need to fix rust. havent really done anything about it lol considering putting a MONSTER cam in the slut. 3-7 or 4-8. the cam is the only thing stopping her from making more power. can't get the rear wheels to lock! swapped master/booster and still the same. i got qfm hpx in the front and they lock before the rears :/ but it stops on a dime so meh weber needs different idle jets. pulls like a school boy and gets 400km a tank (thats thashing it!) need RCA cause my sway bar is hitting my chassis. but if i use RCA i get less camber. so i was considering stiffer springs (eb kings) pics! Chillin Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 It's looking tops dude! really puts the pressure on me to keep mine :rolls: Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Yup I really like the square front on these, most go for the round but with the modgie stance I reckon it looks mad. Should def get 30 bars though or swap your modgies for mine... Quote
Evan G Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 (edited) these modgies are choice bru! on the hunt for decent ke30 bars edit - also got 55w 5000k hids for $60 (a/c transformers) :D now i can see at night! Edited July 16, 2011 by Evan G Quote
carbonboy Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 can't get the rear wheels to lock! Handbrake for the win! :laff: Quote
Evan G Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 this corolla seams to have its own ABS. don't no how/why but it doesnt lock em up LOL Quote
GJM85 Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 (edited) this corolla seams to have its own ABS. don't no how/why but it doesnt lock em up LOL The back end takes a lot to lock up... because when it does, it'll turn you around. I watched a gemini going through town recently. Not sure if had rear brakes only but every time he touched the brakes it just stepped out. Edited July 16, 2011 by GJM85 Quote
Evan G Posted July 16, 2011 Author Report Posted July 16, 2011 (edited) ohhh yeaaaa :D edit - my old 55 locked up the rear so easy. not sure if it was all the weight getting moved forward. it does lock up/pick up the inner wheel under REALLY hard cornering/braking Edited July 16, 2011 by Evan G Quote
ninja-philbo Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 haha u mad man trying to lock em up Quote
