levin_ae92 Posted April 8, 2010 Author Report Posted April 8, 2010 Clearly not as close as you in Bacchus Marsh!! I'm coming down from Adelaide Quote
LukeAE71 Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 If I recall they come on at 107 km/h, at least it did in a mates Supra. You shouldn't be going over 100 km/h in Vic anyway unless you want a ticket. So you will only hear it in SA up to Bordertown which takes 2.5 hours, so 5 hours in total for return. /end useless facts Quote
levin_ae92 Posted April 8, 2010 Author Report Posted April 8, 2010 Haha thanks everyone, I probably wont notice after a while anyways! Quote
Trev Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Did a speed chime remove once before, All I did was located the circuit board and unsoldered the speaker, Can't remember what car it was tho. Quote
930LLO Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Hahahaha I just got rid of mine its behind and attached to the cluster just take it off 2 bolts not f*&king around easy as that. Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) That thing would suck balls in WA. Not many trips where you don't get a chance to go over 107km/h :) I'd want mine set at 140-150... not that I ever drive that fast :) Edited July 29, 2010 by 67Rolla-Ken Quote
marksKE25 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 I had a RA60 Celica import with the same chime that came on at 104kph. the chime is located in the air con duct in the center of the dash, so that that air con works as a resonating chamber. Very very annoying, ripped that sucker out!!!!! Quote
