Speedo Drive Where To Get????

hey guys just wondering if any one knows where i could get a new/second hand speedo drive form as mine is rooted cheers

if any one has one i will buy it off u $$$$$

i tried every where and every thing no one had one not even wreckers!!! so ended up going to Jarvis toyota, ordered a brand new one from toyota japan $52

and should be here in 3 weeks, toyota are so good to deal with had a free coffee and watched some tv while they got to me with a price heheheh

t50 speedo drive fit in k boxes so i would assume vise versa. perhap you coulda jst tried that.?

tried that mate my T50 speedo drive had 21 teeth and the k box speedo drive had 24 everything els was exactly the same only the amount of teeth was different.

then swap the shafts... its only a clip.

The plastic gear is pressed on the shaft, can't swap that easily.

Yeah so swap the whole (2 inch long) sender part that goes into the box. Were the cable attaches is the same on both.

True, but he needs a 21 tooth gear.

 

Therefore the K gear is no good whether he use the whole shaft or not.

all ready tried that and it would have worked if my shaft was not shredded along with gear as well
