I've got a mate with an LC Torana with LJ XU1 motor which has been worked over rather nicely. He wants to build up a motor like yours but use it in an LC/LJ shell. Surely that would be light enough to make an EXTREMELY quick car? And (this is my personal opinion) the LC/LJ looks much better than the KE55, and I own a KE55!!! Remember the LJ coupe only weighs about 950 kilos, and that's with a 202. An RB30/25 hybrid should be a little bit lighter or about the same.

sweeeeet :dance: i love that shape torana, they're like a small car but you can still put stupidly large motors in them

if i get rich, i want to get a bathurst history XU1 and put a 20B in it :jamie:

Welcome aboard dude, and that engine looks "beyond tough stuff!!"

My old buddy from high school has a green LC Torana with an RB30DET in it (CGMFLY) runs 8's!!! That thing has never fathomed the word "traction".

Should have fun and games with the conversion... all the best :jamie:

about two years ago i saw an LJ with a 13G in it, it look like there was an enough room to fit two 13G's in there, when i said that to the guy he go this funny look in his eye.....

yes 13G NOT 13b......

13G = 13BBB....

13g=13b with an extra rotor...

yeah heah! :jamie:

13G was the le mans race engine in the mid 80s before they changed the naming convention and it became the 20B

the first quad rotor was called the 13J and later became the 26B, used in the late 80s grand tourers

mmm... 26B... Queen Street Smash Repairs made up a concept 26B in that pink e36 beema, didn't they? I can only imagine the noise out of that bloody thing!!!

i'd just do it to piss off all the v8 bogans who think rotaries are unreliable and shithouse

i'm sick of sitting at willowbank and having to listen to some beer-gutted faggot in a ford shirt or a hsv cap laugh his slow drawl and say "er that sound means the chicken's ready" and then whatever mazda it is runs a f@$king 9 second pass, while the v8s have been running 12s all day and that's quick. then he'll drive home in his stock six cylinder family car, which he drives around believe he represents his manufacturer of choice, and his shitbox is somehow related to any of the cars on the dragstrip by something more than an emblem and a wheel stud pattern

yes, i have issues :jamie:

hahahahaha. australia,the chicken is ready!

i know what you mean about the 202,but a bathurst xu1 should never be touched unapropriately lol.oh and a 202 sporting tripple webbers definately aint what id call wheezing;)

here is my bros lc with 202 :) it makes 256rwhp before the nitrous is switched on and if you were to be there when it starts up you would never look at a 202 the same again
