Cruise For Charity????

hey peoples theres this cruise orgainised for possibally next friday

bacially its to do with the whole riots thing on prinny hwy

details are abit sketchy

just wondering if anyone's interested???

theres apparently a whole lot of other car clubs going??

I can't remember if i have a birthday party on that night or not. If not I'm sure a few of the boys will chip in some cash for fuel.

Its for that very reason that myself nor my car will be even remotely close to this event.

Ok, had a good look at the page on organising the cruise. There are alot of forums and clubs with members attending, this seems to be an event that will have a police presence encouraged (a good thing), is being organised with help from local councils and will be held in a large public place with enough room for about 500 cars. It is also a major fundraiser with an entry fee of $20, this will keep the riff raff away and hopefully raise quite alot of money.

 

 

Ok, as for an RC representation... Sure, be good, be responsible and all should be good. But if you f@$k up and get caught, well...

 

This as Roosa has pointed out is a very touchy subject. It's actually for a good cause, but if things go stupid it will only make things worse. I don't think I will be attending, not because I don't want to but because I think I will be away when there planning on having it.

 

So, Rollaclub itself most likely won't be putting there name on it, but that doesn't mean our members can't go. Just be good!
