Engine Idle Problem

was driving my ke (4k) today and did some fishys down a dirt road when i got to the end of the road and stoped it didnt wont to idle and just about stald now it whont idle under 1100rpm i had to turn the idle screw up so it whont die and when i come to a stop quickly it just dies or idles ruff can somone help? my gess is its the carby flot

+1 I'm also having the same problem when i come to a hard stop from 100kph it dies

mine was doing the same thing just ended up being the timing.

Did you have an air filter on it.

yeah il check the timing tomoro and yes it had the air filter on it

Sounds like the anti deiseling solanoid on the side of the carby.

Check your getting 12 v to it when the ignition is turned on and it clicks.

i have the exact same problem at the moment, can't drive it without the choke, i thought it was maybe the timing, so i got the timing done and it runs a bit better but i still have the same problem, the guy who done my timing told me to put a carby kit through the carby because that is most likely the problem, i got the carby kit yesterday and am yet to have put it through the carby, but ill let you know if it helps me at all, might help you
