yes to much squating is bad, this is what it was like last time so more power is only going to be worse

You can do one of 2 things.

1. Take some height out of the front (nose pointing down) so the car levels off when accelerating, downside is that the weigh shift to the rear may be affected and cause wheelspin.

2. Put heaps of positive camber in the rear so when it squats the wheels pull down and have more contact, we did this with the circuit car at willowbank.

yeh we did put some positve camber in it last time to compensate, have talked to a couple of mates in the know and they said just fit the adjustable shocks on the hardest setting and see what happens. if i can half how much it squats should improve the 60 foot time as well.

Just put air shocks in it and pump them right up. I don't think that the hardest setting on adjustable shocks are going to do anything as they are only really a 'bump' dampening.

yeh if i could get pump up shocks would be good, also really don't have anywhere to fit poly bags so this is the first solution. the power will still push the shocks down but will help the initial hit of the power.

Guess of MPH: Well OKE020 does 176mph, so yours should be around 160mph at least. :)

And BTW: What's that Black stuff comin' out of the Exhaust Pipe? Thrashed Turbo Fumes, or you running No Cat? :hmm: A V8 SS Commodore Cat should be Good - More Power, Less Emissions :D

i will be happy with 130mph next time, might be able to get closer to 135mph but will wait and see. most of what comes out of my exhaust now is just water, e85 lots of power and good for the enviroment

new shocks are fitted and much stiffer so hopefully doesnt squat as hard now. if anyone wants a near new set of ma70 struts to suit cressida $100 plus postage. they retail for about $150 each and have done about 3000kms and are much better than standard cressida ones.
