i have another project on the go that will make both of these look soft but seeing as there are to many people on here that know everything wont bother sharing it.

 

so i guess your trying to say i think i know everything? i never said that and i did say the 500 was possible but pushing a full weight cortina, to the 9 was gonna be the difficult part. And once again if I'm wrong and if it runs a 9 i will gladly say i was wrong. As for fritzz's el i do know of this car as i have seen it on the boosted forums before, so yeah i guess i have seen a standard 4l make 630hp. yeah u can run a radials to high mph and quick ets, i think th fastest radial car in the world does 6.80's, but most of these cars have a rear end setups and 1/2 chassis' even 3/4' to help cope with lose of traction, even the corolla runs a little 2 link setup. the other thing is if u watch a lot of these radial tyred cars leave the line, the use very little to no boost and low rpm other wise they go up in smoke or in the case of a car with no wheelie bars they stand up on the bumper. although i don't think traction is going to be a problem for you. i would really love to see u suceed and push this thing to 9, and u could do it. but i think its gonna take lots of r+d and less wieght best of luck sir :y:

r&d is a deffinate, less weight is not as important as it weighs about 150kg less than my cressida and also has the bonus of a solid rear diff. 1.5 60 foots and 135mph should get me to where need.

like i said its all in the tune and the build, 500rwhp is about as far as i will push it as its got to be semi reliable don't want to be working on it everyday

 

What 60ft does the 630hp falcon do?

 

 

no idea probably not very good cause its manual, if i can get the cortina to mid 1.5 60 foots ill be happy

 

 

now enough of cortina and back to cressida, can't wait for my 44gallon drum of e85 this weekend and get back to the track. may need to also fit some stiffer rear springs as it was squating pretty bad last time, and the extra power isnt going to fix that problem

not sure where its from my mates picking up 3 drums, but just under $2.50 a litre i think. will be good when it comes to the pump in qld should only be around $1. don't think i will make it to track this weekend as I'm only doing injectors tonight so maybe next week.

there is a caltex over near wellington point that has it on pump already, it was about 1.05 a litre when we last got some

yeah there's e85 on pump along mt gravatt capalaba road after the gateway highway it's a caltex servo :D

ok thanks guys found one at churchill that sells it, which is only about 5 minutes from willowbank. its only about $1 a litre, doesnt have the additives like the other stuff i was going to get but I'm cheap so will just get that. i have two empty 44 gallon drums so will probably fill them both.

It is e-flex which is different to drum E85.
