I reccon just get it rego'd then drive it around and colour code the bumpers and then later on, save up and chuck a 4agze in >|

Its the motor and box out version. Also the non drift hack thrashed version also.

Shell's pretty clean, no existing damage, minimal rust. No sunroof = win!!!

 

Mates got a CA18DET he's taking out of his 180 to put an sr20 in..

if you say so... my silvia is currently headless as apparently when fiting head its ok to drop on HG and then to not retorque the head and well then i have the car for a few months and everything turns to shit! (i had nothing to do with any of the head neglect)

 

and i only have a CA18DE... turbo versions apparently disagree with HG's altogether. SR is a far stronger motor. id go with a mild 4agze.

4AGZE is indestructobile! Go for it or 4AGE. As you said, it's only a daily hack. Lots of work to turn a Hachi into SR/CA daily hack...

4AGE = plug and play!

I'm thinking 20v. I can pick up that CA18DET for $350 full package, motor loom box etc. But will try my luck for a 20V first. Wanna keep it all Toyota.

 

I don't see the problem with dropping an engine package in it so long as its done right. :wub:

holy shit that looks sooooo much like my old one, except that the grille on mine was different (jap spec). Any old rego details? It's not NHC079 rego is/was it (yeh it was in Vic)

 

Does that right hand front indicator look like it has been replaced?
