yeh same! unfortunately i was pretty busy at the meet point handing out cruise sheets etc etc so didnt get a chance to really have a look at many cars, would of loved to check urs out. I almost bought it at one stage before i built mine.

Yeah always next time, hopefully i can get my new fuel set-up done before mine runs out of rego cos once it runs out I'm redoing my whole front suspension/brakes so prob be off the road for a couple of months. I only ever rego it for 3 months cos its never usually on the road long before i want to start upgrading more stuff on it lol

EDIT: gotta love the sound of a ported rota

haha I'm glad it didnt sell when i tried..

pretty sure i was selling it to cheap.. and its to fun to get rid of..

if only both were registered at same time..

my rolla was un registered for about 3 or so years before the sar cruise... i never really bothered with it.. but now i want it on the road all the time,

pretty sure your 20 would be kinda funny how stupidly fast or out of control it would be! :no2:

I'm sure we can work something out and try get both cars out together.

Yeh its definitely quick and fun, all the suspensions been done is very controllable when the back wheels are going much faster than the fronts haha

Any plans to put an IDA or some other sort of carby on it? Surely that would give it a bit more poke than the stock nikki!

I was thinking the same thing!! I didn't think the Nikki carb could possibly give it enough fuel to even run properly being a J-Port. But add a weber to a ported rotary and watch the fuel just disappear :no2:

I remember a guy in Adelaide years ago had some sort of ported RX4, back when driving up and down Jetty Road was considered cool, and he said you pretty much had to fill the car up for each lap :jamie: :jamie:

Just like with any other car it really depends on how you drive it. With my IDA fed 13b bridgey I can get to Hobart and back on a tank (450 odd km)....... but I could also use that tank of fuel in about an hours worth of "spirited driving".

yeah would kill for a webber but i don't exactly have a high paying job..

and having a mortgage means i have to look for a cheap cheap one oneday..

it runs fine with the shitty standard carb... just wont rev as high as it probably should..

its not a race car anyways just more of a fun cruiser that gets up and goes... :jamie:

GO b4 SHOW

the exterior of my car is POOR in my opinion but i don't care one little bit, shiny paint doesnt help me go any quicker

yeah that is true.. but my car definately needs some work donee.

just wish i had the cash...

anyone got some disk brakes for a ke1* they would be willing to seperate with cheaply?

i still got 4 wheel drums .... that is the main reason why its not going fast anytime soon..

Yeah they are standard 20 discs and calipers. Not much of an upgrade really but better than the drums >|
