Tips On Removing Ke10 Door Handle

Just wondering if anyone has any tips on removing the (inside) door handle and window winder from a KE10?

 

I am trying to get mine off to pull the door cards off, but they are being pretty stubborn.

 

Don't want to break anything just because I may not know the right trick...

I just use a tiny flathead screwdriver and practice youre technique to pop the spring out; you'll get good after you've done a few of them

I got the tool to do it at a cheap shop in Ipswich mate cost $5..LOL

 

Never go wrong with it or yes I am with the tooth less fork guy.

Cool, so there is actually a spring in there.

Use a strip of cloth/ rag . Slide it between winder and trim. Wiggle it about a bit and the clip should ccme off

I don't think that most people realise, but these winders actually Push On, they just don't pull off easily.

 

Once you get the spring and winder in your hand, you can fit the Jesus clip into the winder and push it straight onto the shaft and it will lock into place.

 

It's been designed so that it only takes a couple of seconds to assemble it on the production line
