Anyone after a manual or any car related literature go here, they got everything. These were the guys at the last motor show with a book stall, I spent like 200 bucks on books :) Quote
dysolve Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 are you sure it was not 200 books and bucks?? :jamie: Quote
ancullen Posted July 28, 2005 Report Posted July 28, 2005 When I was in Melbourne about 18 months back, I went to the Technical Book Shop a few times. I ended up getting a book on the history of Aston Martin, one on the Jaguar XK motor, one on the Jaguar XJ6, the excellent Modern Engine Tuning by A. Graham Bell, and a book on the Austin Healey 3000. I think they ended up costing me around $250 all up, but they have been worth it. I can't wait until I go to Melbourne again so I can splurge. I can buy on the net (www.techbooks.com.au) but it's not quite the same as being in the store to check them out first. Someone really needs to write a book on the history of the Corolla including some stuff about modifying them. Any takers? Nick? Teddy? Ruts? Quote

rjenman Posted July 29, 2005 Author Report Posted July 29, 2005 Yeah I hate that "omg this stuff is gold" feeling that is accompanied by an aftertaste of lightened wallet Quote
