from what i can see it is a 150E/3K-R what ever you want to call it in a te27/ke25 shell.

can anyone shed any information or any more pics of this beast? do with think it was a factory or a custom job? experimental race car?

the plot thickens! i was just re-looking over the pics and it appreas to be a LHD car. hmmmmmmmm :P

No way could it be a factory job. My guess would be a jap nostalgia race car from the states maybe. Hard to say, bit would love to get some more info on this thing. Looks freakin awesome. And from the videos that I've seen of the legendary 3k-r, this thing would fly. Nice find!

Cheers

Looks more like the 16 valve TTE vertion of the 2tg to me :P

I think tojos on the money. Makes more sense to have a 151E in a TE27 than a 137E too.

I've seen shots of that one before. I think it's an enthusiasts car in Japan. In other references I'm pretty sure the motor is a 151E.

Anyone read the specs in the above links about the TE37? 170HP twin cam in it, and solid front disks! What?!?

I guess he has little intention to stop :D

ok, we are guessing that the engine is a 151E.

why is the shell LHD? this either means the shell/car where either american or european delivered. why would the owner import a te27 back into japan unless this conversion was already done?
