PeanutBoi78 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Hey I'm selling a 1983 Ford Meteor Twin Carb goes hard had it doin 100km in 2nd. It has 5 speed manual probably need new tyres comes with spares asking $600. Quote
Nitephyre Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 something smaller and more economical than a sera? o.O thought that's exactly what it'd be? Quote
MissSydneyCruising Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 nah not smallER... just a small economincal car. I'm not trying to save money I'm trying to rip the sera to shreds in the hopes of videotaping and putting it into a book, building a showcar and winning lots of awards, all whilst promoting my business. I need something as a daily driver because my work involves alot of driving, and if I should ever not have a car I would be out of work straight away. smaller and more economical the better. Quote

ancullen Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 I'll sell you the Galant if you're interested. It's got lowered Pedders springs, but that's the only mod. I'm not going to pretend I've treated her like a princess or anything. I get about fuel consumption of about 9-10L/100km. Has an air conditioner, but it doesn't work (I think it needs regassing), and has power steering. Yours for $4,000 if you're interested. Me living in the NT might be a problem though. Quote
demuire Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 Different from only driven on weekends I could advertise my Corolla like that, and I wouldn't be lying either! It even has low k's :D But no, Corolla is not for sale :) Quote
ancullen Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 But no, Corolla is not for sale So you're giving it away then??? :) Quote

ancullen Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 I take it you're not interested in the Galant then Miss_Sydney? Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 i would buy the twincarb meteor hey. absolute piece of shit to drive, but would go like the clappers :) talk him down to 500 bucks Quote
demuire Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 One of my mates used to have a twincarb meteor, and it used to pull big skids :) Even bigger skids than my GSR, but that might have had something to do with the fact that I had semi slicks on so couldn't really light them up :D Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 if anyone knows the red krawler, ask him now his old twincarb kb laser went besides around the block with a cup of oil down the carby pretending to do a burnout. while his girlfriend at the time (and still maybe?) owned an r33 gtst Quote
