ahouse Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 it depends on whether you want to keep it stock or go all out. compare with other prices and think about what it will cost to convert to RWD. Quote
parrot Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Yes it is worth it. However it isn't as simple or cheap to do it properly as people think. If you make it carbed, it is much easier. And remember it will need to be engineered. Quote
Beauc Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Shaun, not having finished mine yet etc, you will end up spending loads of money to not really go that quick. I frequently have thoughts about throwing in the 4age for the 13bt import motor, around the same money in the end a little more work but it would be a whole different league from a 4age, as i said ive had a series 4 rx7 with a hi flow more boost etc and it was an absolute weapon, now imagine it in a car thats a few hundred kg's lighter! But, if you want to go the 4age, i have a computer and injectors here you can buy from me cheap they are just spare. Quote
Chief Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 yea i reckon you should get it (I'm bias cuz I'm doing one lol) but it is alot more than i thought had to be done but I'm at the top of the hill and all i need is a few things done now but i keep looking at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExmMTztxp6s its a 4age turbo and it looks like its going heaps hard and the 4age have heaps of parts everywhere and if you need help just Pm me cuz i have almost done it all myself (except the wiring I'm still yet to get that done) and asked heaps of questions Quote

As mentioned above though there is a bit of work required to get it in and up and running Quote
Chief Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 pffftt sr20 as if lol that is also a nice engine but your going to get a bigport for cheap sooo go with it. Quote

Beauc Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 Shaun, come and check mine out one arvo dude, you'll find the wiring is probably one of the easiest parts, i sat the loom down and labeled everything for when I'm ready to put it in, and I'm going to run the lights and wipers etc on a separate circuit.
