I think the rolla needs a little more boost. Maybe around the 10psi mark. Really don't want to bugger any internals or the manifold though.

i definately wouldnt pass the 10 pound mark i want a Turbosmart Eboost Street. I would suggest an electronic EBC, best way to go about it

yeah that would be good, give it a bit when you want to and quickly change back to stock when cruising. Ive got a turbosmart boost tee on the rex. Does the job, 16.5psi all day every day. Its what the actuator is set to.

Update on the rolla! New CAI that I made up yesterday, with some interstate help from karllos

SOunds much the same as my last setup, just a little quieter. The missus didnt like the mass suction

noise that the turbo was putting out. Now its just a nice whistle when it comes on boost. Have to get a

driving video at some stage.

we are a trio :no2:

I don't mind the ssq bov but I'm going to be getting a gfb mach 1 for the subie.

There's a piece of metal which i thik is the secondary valve inside my hks bov that has broken.

Was going to pull it apart to see if it could be welded back together. Bov still works fine. Just vents

a lot longer than it should.

When i get my mach 1 you can have my hks one if you want karl. Its limited edition black :P

On that note. Where does the vacuum line from your bov run too? I pulled all the original airbox out

last weekend and saw no signs of a standard bov being on our rolla. I would have thought there would be

a vacuum line plugged up sitting there somewhere....

i might need to hunt them down and send them a invite then... even if NT is dead on RC ill do my best to get the name out there

saweet! il pay for shipping/postage :no2:

The vacuum line for my bov (well it used to) go to one of the 2 outlets on the back of the inlet plenum. The one furthest to the right was blanked out when i got my car. Was your car ever bought from a dealer? And pedals that you have?

If you can find them would be great. Always good to hear and get info from others.

ill see what i can do... i see it and drool. loove great with the mesh out of the front grill, leaving the FMIC open breathing :P

Yeah when i had the mesh in you could barely see the cooler. I took it out so you can properly see it, and people look it a think 'What the....?' LOL

Karl, The guy she bought it off bought it from toyota brand new when he worked for them. All servicing was carried out buy toyota and then BMW

coz he shifted to to them. Both of those nipples you are talking about have plugs on them with what looks to be the standard squeeze clamps. AS for

the pedals, they look like normal corolla pedals, black rubber etc. Has yours got stainless pedels!!!!???

Where does your vacuum line rn to now then? Same place?

I'll let ya know about the HKS bov. I'll take it off and see what the go is inside it. Still works perfect, as you heard on the video.

Hmmmm ive only had one that is blanked il have a look and see what the left one is going to. I still have the vacuum line on it but its plugged as a result of me running flutter. So its as good plugged. I'm still in 2 minds as to remove the mesh??
